End of Month Account Statement Customization
The Statement Customization section allows you to configure how your credit union's end-of-month account statements appear to members. These settings apply institution-wide to all future statements and give you control over branding, compliance language, and contact information without requiring ModernFi assistance. To access Statement Customization, log into your Admin Portal, click on the "Settings" tab at the bottom left of the menu bar, then scroll down to the "Custom Settings for Monthly Member Account Statement" section.
Customization Options:
Statement Title: Customize the title that appears at the top of your account statements. The default is "ModernFi Account Statement," but you can change this to match your credit union's branding preferences (e.g., "Extended Insurance Account Statement," "[Your Credit Union Name] Account Statement"). This field has a character limit to ensure proper formatting.
Include NCUA Logo: Toggle whether the NCUA regulatory mark appears on your statements. By default, this is set to "Yes" for credit unions. You can select "No" if you prefer not to display the mark.
Disclosures Paragraph: Add a custom disclosure paragraph that will appear in the footer of your statements. This field is useful for including institution-specific compliance language, disclaimers, or regulatory disclosures required by your credit union. Character limits apply to preserve statement layout.
Account Number Masking: Choose whether to display the full account number or only the last four digits on statements. Toggle to "Yes" to mask the account number (showing only the last four digits), or "No" to display the complete account number.
Contact and Return Mailing Address: Add freeform contact information that will appear beneath the statement header. This can include your credit union's phone number, website, mailing address, or other contact details you want members to have readily available.
Statement Closing Paragraph: Add a custom closing message that appears at the end of the statement. This is an opportunity to provide support contact information, direct members to resources, or include any final messaging you want to communicate (e.g., "Please contact the [Your Credit Union] team to receive assistance or ask questions regarding this statement").
Once you're satisfied with your changes, click the Save button to preview your changes. The preview displays a sample statement with your customization applied, allowing you to verify formatting and content before saving.
Your customization will automatically appear on all future statements generated for your institution.
